On the back of an awful display against Scotland, the Wallabies have a hell of a lot of work to do if they are to be any chance of correcting the mistakes of last weekend. In losing for the first time to Scotland in Sydney, the Australian players and coaching staff were lambasted by disgruntled fans on social media for a perceived lack of effort and passion.
One of the more colourful posts was the reaction of a dedicated lifelong rugby fan in Jack Quigley. The Lismore local took to Facebook to vent his frustrations with the post going viral and the rugby “player/coach/referee” even earned a private phone call from Wallabies coach Michael Cheika who said he assured the passionate fan that everyone who dons the gold jersey is 100% committed to the team.
The debacle of last weekend should be enough to inspire the Wallabies to beat the lowly Italy team, especially since Quigley’s passionate spraying of the entire Aussie unit. The Azzurri aren’t on the same level of ability as Australia but you can be guaranteed they will just as, if not more passionate, than Australia. UBET has a full range of markets for all international rugby this weekend including the Lions’ clash with the All Blacks in New Zealand.
