Australian Guineas Day is one of the main race days during the Melbourne Autumn Racing Carnival. It is the host to many prominent events, such as the Group 1 Australian Guineas and the Group 3 Frances Tressady Stakes. It tends to attracts punters and socialites from across the state, and has been one of the main feature days on the Australian Racing Calendar.
