Dodger I am is racing well and has a good draw near the rails. Hanging In There tired badly on Monday night, but will be fitter for the run. Rhynstone Jetta has run a fast 29.54 here but will need to begin well to get across from the pink box
Harbormaster appears well drawn here and is racing in great heart. Fast win last week. Veteran Caustic Bale also racing well but always needs luck as he goes looking for the rail early, so not well drawn. Rockstar Lisa is a reliable beginner and can push for the early lead along with Ruff State.
Star stayer Luna Jinx was injured at her last start here. Big drop in class, just needs some luck. Bells Are Ringin is the Victorian kennelmate of Ring The Bell (in Distance final), and is a class stayer in its own right. So You Girl got up in the last stride on Monday night, always running on at the finish.
Looks a match race between the Victorian Ultimate Magic and local Marlow Brown. Both have early speed, and it looks like they will go with each other early. Marlow Brown been racing against the best in SA, and can sit outside the red and win.
Texas Titan won over the 600m last start, but can be a little risky for first 20 metres, and will be looking to get out wide. Eduardo been racing without much luck but in a race where he can cross the inside pair, has a fast 34.68 win here, and the trip suits.
Cardiology has really taken to staying since stepping up to the longer trips and has recorded fast wins at Wentworth Park. Will be looking for the rails early, but will get the trip and can settle anywhere and win. QLD rep Big Easy Red ran fast time to win that state final and then had a hit out this track over 600 metres on Monday and ran fast time. Ring The Bell (VIC) has impressive credentials against the best stayers in the land, and well drawn near the rails.
Wave To Kirra normally a faultless beginner and looks the early pilot here. More than capable when in front, and down in class on most recent runs. Christies Girl well suited near the fence, while Excusez Moi is another who will appreciate the class drop.
Zamborra Brockie is the best sprinter in Australia, and appears to have the race at his mercy after coming up with the rails draw. Trialled in fast time here last week and has the advantage of risky beginners in boxes 2,3 and 4. Has exceptional pace just after box rise, should get the lead.
Queenslander Outside Pass has run the hands off the clock at several tracks around the country, and while she did trial here last week running a little slower than Zamborra Brockie, the major concern is her lack of early place. Will be racing for luck. Local hope Worm Burner has won 10 in a row here, knows every grain of sand around the Angle Park circuit, and suited drawn out a little. Has a real chance if the favourite does anything wrong.
Indian Light having first run here, and up in distance. Fast beginner, ran exceptional time over the shorts at Gawler 3 runs ago, and is surrounded by risky beginners here. The last 50 metres might be the concern. Wild Soul has been a prolific winner here (26 wins this trip), getting to the end of his career but still capable given a clear run. Cyclone Clifford and Regal Looper racing well, and are others who can get home hard.
Rockstar Ted not a reliable beginner but should get clear early with a slow beginner drawn inside him. Zipping Geoff beat a similar field on Monday night after finding early trouble. Shift Seine is also a last start winner here when ran a really quick first section, on times can lead and win.
Dyna Leona scored solid win here 2 starts ago running 30.28 off the red box. Not an overly strong race here, and can win again. Springvale Paris lightly raced, has a win here in 30.29, and that was from box 2, so suited in the red. On paper appears to be a very open race with a lot of chances.
Rockstar Swirl the form runner here having won 3 of last 4, has pace and is the one to beat. Sheeza Nitro has fast wins here (29.83), but is very risky at the start. Official Label won last couple at Gawler from near the rails, will need to begin to feature here.
